What we're working on
East Gippsland Active Transport is a volunteer group working to make walking, cycling and mobility travel safer and better connected across the region. Our projects range from a decade-long campaign for a shared path between Bairnsdale and Paynesville, to hands-on community education, to specific requests for safer crossings and footpaths. Bairnsdale to Paynesville Path
Our flagship campaign for a safe, off-road path linking the two towns.
